GENERAL FUNCTION: Partners with High Net Worth Insurance Specialist to help ensure service standards including execution, delivery and retention are achieved. Manages High Net Worth Life Insurance cases through the underwriting process topolicydelivery.Responsible and accountable for risk by openly exchanging ideas and opinions, elevation concerns and personally following policies and procedures as defined. Accountable for always doing the right thing for customers and colleagues,andensuresthatactions and behaviors drive a positive customer experience. While operating within the Bank's risk appetite, achieves results by consistently identifying, assessing, managing, monitoring, and reporting risks of all types.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
. Assist High Net Worth Specialist in activities that support client customer service, including working with client to answer questions, research and resolution of customer issues and concerns and follows up on items between theHighNetWorthSpecialist and client as requested.
. Manage the coordination and collaboration with client third party carrier to ensure that all assigned transactions are executed in a timely and accurate manner.
. Verify underwriting requirement, order any required exams, tests or attending physician statements indicated as carrier requirement or requests.
. Receive and review all new policies for accuracy prior to releasing the policy to the agent for delivery.
. Process and follow-up operations duties linked to new/existing accounts, risk management, marketing support, etc..
. Ensure that all assigned transactions are executed in a timely and accurate manner, and that all documentation is maintained to standards.
. Educate and coach business partners on insurance products, compliance and operational duties.
. Build and establish relationships with clients in order to ensure that they are informed about insurance industry changes while providing the opportunity to deepen and enhance clients relationships.
. Participate in the onboarding of High Net Worth Specialist, Wealth Management Advisors and Private Bankers as requested.
. Performs other projects or duties as assigned.

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS REQUIRED:
. High School diploma or equivalent. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or Business Management preferred.
. Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), Series 6, 63, appropriate state residence insurance licenses for Life, Health, Long Term Care are required as documented in the Fifth Third Securities Licensing Guidelines.
. Five (5) years of insurance or related financial services experience
. Excellent understanding of the financial industry, compliance regulations, daily operational duties and insurance products. Prior insurance experience required.
. Exhibits a sense of urgency and a continued drive for results.
. Effective problem solving and analytical skills
. Demonstrates ability to effectively collaborate and function in a team-oriented environment
. Must be able to work independently with limited supervision
. Intermediate computer skills with demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point
. Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication and negotiation skills
