GENERAL FUNCTION: Responsible for analysis, design, implementation, and ongoing support of

the Enterprise Hybrid Cloud for Fifth Third Bank. Provides leadership and assists with the

development and implementation of strategy. Coordinates projects and implements new technologies

and systems of a moderate to high level of complexity. Follows corporate standards to

implement private and public cloud solutions. Responsible and accountable for risk by openly exchanging ideas and opinions, elevating concerns, and personally following policies and procedures as defined. Accountable for always doing the right thing for customers and colleagues, and ensures that actions and behaviors drive a positive customer experience. While operating within the Bank's risk appetite, achieves results by consistently identifying, assessing, managing, monitoring, and reporting risks of all types.


#Manage the cloud management platform and associated tools.

#Develop and maintain automation and orchestration software and scripting to integrate with all underlying public and private cloud technologies.

#Perform cloud system administration tasks, including development of new Service Catalog entries and provisioning patterns.

#Assist with problem resolution for cloud management issues.

#Assist with upgrading and patching of cloud management software, scripting, and tools.

#Create and update operations procedures for daily routine management processes.

#Play a key role as an individual contributor on projects of a moderate to high level of complexity.

#Manage Remedy queue of incidents, changes and service requests.

#Maintain appropriate controls and documentation to ensure compliance of audit requirements and qualifications.

#Engage vendor support as required

#Support Disaster Recovery Tests

#Perform capacity and performance management analysis.

#Assume additional responsibilities as assigned.



#Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Information Systems or comparable experience

#8 - 10 years of experience with Enterprise-class Data Center environments

#Knowledge with one of the following:

1.Knowledge with enabling Automation, Orchestration, and Configuration Management tasks leveraging tools such as Ansible and Terraform

2.Knowledge with deploying and configuring different Public Cloud services such as Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Azure through Automation

3.Knowledge with managing and operating Platform as a Service and container technologies such as OpenShift, Docker, and Kubernetes

#Knowledge with infrastructure as a code practices leveraging tools such as GitHub and Jenkins for automated infrastructure code test, integration, deployment, and assurance

#Knowledge with Scripting Languages such as YAML, JSON, and Python for administration, automation, and monitoring

#Knowledge with multiple data center infrastructure technologies such as server virtualization, storage, network, security, middleware, and database.

#Experience with Cloud Management Platforms

#Experience with Software Development Methodologies

#Excellent verbal and written communication skills
