Central Operations is the home of over 2,300 employees who handle Fifth Third Bank's back-office functions and Contact Center services for nearly six million customers. Our goal is to operate as an efficient, behind-the-scenes machine to allow Fifth Third Bank transactions to be seamlessly executed for our affiliates and customers.
GENERAL FUNCTION: Under moderate supervision, assists Fifth Third Securities Institutional Investment Executives, Fixed Income Traders, Equity Traders, and customers with all operational aspects of their business, including customeronboarding,maintenance, cashiering processes, report monitoring, and projects as required.

While operating within the Bank's risk appetite, achieves results by consistently identifying, assessing, managing, monitoring, and reporting risks of all types.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
.Accurately and timely processing of large Commercial client money movement requests.
.Review new Institutional applications and following up with Investment Executive and/or Inst.
Sales Client Services Specialist to resolve discrepancies.
.Open accounts accurately and maintain documentation. Monitor money line, debit balance, and
trade break reports daily.
.Monitor daily trade settlement reports and work in coordination with multiple delivery
departments at NFS to ensure accurate DVP/RVP functionality.
.Monitor / work Institutional debit balance report and daily account opening / processing statistic
.Entering / monitoring fund strike times, trading calendar schedules in CASHEMATRIX system.
.Oversee and execute the administration of onboarding and access granting of customers within
the Capital Markets' Money Market Portal program.
.Arrange and monitor customer's specific settlement instruction requests for trades placed.
.Assist manager in compliance-related issues with regard to fixed income products, as well as
.Perform all other duties as assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: None.
MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience required.
Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), Series 7, 63 licenses required.
Knowledge of fixed income, equity, and mutual fund trading.
Ability to service both Investment Executives and clients of Fifth Third Securities in a
professional and accurate manner.
- Ability to work in a stressful environment, meet deadlines, and service accounts with high
attention to detail.
Problem-solving abilities and critical thinking skills.
Ability to multi-task.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Strong math and organizational skills.
Proficiency in MS Word and Excel.
Working knowledge of trading systems preferred. Including web based and mainframe based
