GENERAL FUNCTION: The RCA Financial Advisor Support Specialist works closely with and provides office management support for RCA financial advisors. This individual must be detail oriented, with strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsible and accountable for risk by openly exchanging ideas and opinions, elevating concerns, and personally following policies and procedures as defined. Accountable for always doing the right thing for customers and colleagues, and ensuresthatactions and behaviors drive a positive customer experience. While operating within the Bank's risk appetite, achieves results by consistently identifying, assessing, managing, monitoring, and reporting risks of all types.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide daily administrative support to RCA financial advisors and existing and potential clients.

  • Process and follow-up on operational duties linked to new/existing accounts, risk management, and marketing/sales support.

  • Understand and follow the client onboarding and retention processes.

  • Perform account maintenance, including new account paperwork, account transfers, checks, certificates, account updates, money movements, address changes, distributions, etc.

  • Responsible to accurately prepare, proof, and submit account documents for custodian approval

  • Ensure that all documentation is maintained to standards.

  • Accurately enter CRM information into systems.

  • Maintain close contact with clients in order to ensure they are informed about industry changes, while deepening the relationship and serving the best interest of the client.

  • Support multiple financial advisors with large books of business.

  • Handle various administrative functions for the financial advisors, including client meeting preparation, client contact, and follow-up.

  • Conducts in-bound and out-bound client calling for servicing and retention purposes.

  • Prepare Retirement Income Analysis that advisors will deliver to prospects and clients.

  • Prepare client meeting materials and reports, as needed.

  • Assist with meeting notes.

  • Provide timely reports to the advisory team.

  • Work closely with operations in servicing client accounts and problem resolution

  • Identify opportunities to improve the "client experience" with the goal to "exceed expectations".

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: None

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with an emphasis on finance and business preferred.

  • 3-5 years related financial services, RIA, or brokerage experience.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Deep understanding of financial industry, compliance regulations, daily operational duties, and investment processes.

  • Ability to meet deadlines under pressure utilizing superior time management skills.

  • Strong computer skills with demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook.

  • Must be able to prioritize and effectively manage multiple tasks at once.

  • Must be able to work independently with limited supervision, yet be part of an engaged team.
