GENERAL FUNCTION: Provide leadership in the pitching structuring approval and execution of M&A and Strategic Advisory engagements while providing support to the Healthcare Investment Banking Managing Director in the day to day management of the oftheHealthcare IB business and resources. The Principal, Healthcare Investment Banking, will play a leadership role in the evolution and development of the groups capabilities with limited supervision will be responsible for ensuring that theHealthcareInvestment Banking team is creating and delivering high-quality analysis and materials. For structuring engagements, the Principal, Healthcare Investment Banking, will be the point person in the creation of high-impact pitch materials and willrun thedeal structuring and execution process including the creation off financial models, writing of the approval documents and other materials.

The role is responsible and accountable for risk by openly exchanging ideas and opinions, elevating concerns, and personally following policies and procedures as defined. Accountable for always doing the right thing for customers and colleagues,andensures that actions and behaviors drive a positive customer experience. While operating within the Bank's risk appetite, achieves results by consistently identifying, assessing, managing, monitoring, and reporting risks of all types.


. Understand and evaluate complex financial models and markets.

. Perform complex financial analysis.

. Create high-impact presentation materials using PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and other relevant software programs.

. Work well as part of a team in a high stress environment.

. Develop good working relationships with peers and seniors in Capital Markets and the rest of the organization.

. Manage priorities while working on a number of high-priority opportunities simultaneously.

. A strong background in M&A Advisory and corporate finance and the ability to apply that knowledge to Advisory and Capital Markets projects.

. Serve as support to the Managing Director and be capable of making internal and external M&A presentations to support the efforts of the Managing Director.

. Interact independently with all important constituencies in the course of the execution of an M&A or Strategic Advisory engagement


To the extent there are any, direct day to day supervision of the Associates and Analysts. Responsible for providing employees timely, candid and constructive performance feedback; developing employees to their fullest potential and providingchallengingopportunities that enhance employee career growth; identifying and developing appropriate talent pool to ensure adequate bench strength and succession planning; recognizing and rewarding employees for accomplishments.


. 7 - 10 years of experience in Investment Banking, or M&A.

. BA/BS in Finance/Accounting/Economics preferred. MBA strongly preferred

. Strong underwriting skills.

. Proven track record of success in working as a part of a team to originate, and close complex financial transactions.

. Proven ability to pitch, win and execute M&A engagements.

. Excellent presentation skills, both oral and written.

. Strong relationship building skills.

. The ability to interact and communicate effectively with senior executives inside and outside our organization.

. Expertise in one or more industries.

. Series 79 & 63 license required.
